Since 1981 Haselgrove has been tending to vineyards and creating award-winning wine in the heart of McLaren Vale. Today our winemaking team, headed up by Andrew Locke, utilising a combination of traditional ‘old world’ winemaking techniques and the best modern practices to hand-crafted artisan wines that reflect vintage conditions and display the terroir of the vineyard.

​Somewhere in McLaren Vale you'll find a very special block of old vine Shiraz. If you search for it, an olive grove to the west and an ancient chapel will be your guide. The shallow soil overlying a bedrock of limestone and the gentle sea beezes consistently provide us with fruit of exceptional quality. A wine vrith all the hallmarks of an iconic McLaren Vale Shiraz. Deep, dark and brooding with aromas of dark cherry, ripe plum notes of mocha and alluring spice. A framework of fine structural tannins balances the opulent fruit and provides length and persistence.
