Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin was founded in 1772 and is based in Reims making it one of the oldest and champagne houses. Madame Clicquot is credited for major breakthroughs such as creating the first known vintage champagne in 1810. High percentage of Pinot Noir grapes gives this Champagne a superbly full bodied taste, dry with apricots on the nose and toasty oak flavours.
