The Mottura estate includes 50 hectars of vineyards in an area of limey clayey tufaceous soil of Campi Salentina in Tuglie in the province of Lecce in the heart of Salento: an excellent region of wine production. The Mottura winery founded in 1927 is now run by the fourth generation and is recognised as one of the most dynamic wineries in the Salento region. The vineyards are cultivated with the goal of optimising quality using practices in line with local tradition and particular natural autochthonous varietals.

Selected grapes, low yield vineyard, slight drying on the plant. Intense red with purple reflections, the aroma reveals red fruit of jam, morello cherry and dried plum. Taste of red fruits, roasted walnut and velvety cloves. Full bodied and sumptuously harmonious.
